Ocean Acidification — What’s happening in Puget Sound?
Roger Kelley, Snohomish Conservation District

Have you heard of Ocean Acidification?  What does it mean for the ocean, its inhabitants, and us?  Come learn, by hands-on activity no less, Wed., Jan. 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Camano Multipurpose Center (blue building), 141 East Camano Drive, about this change in our world’s oceans. Roger Kelley, Youth Education Coordinator for the Snohomish Conservation District, presents this unique program for all ages about this new and very relevant topic for the Puget Sound Region.  Roger has been an environmental educator for more than 20 years and specializes in water quality topics. The Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks, hosts this public presentation.  For information, call 360-387-2236, visit www.camanowildlifehabitat.org or e-mail camanowildlifehabitat@gmail.com.
