2/17 7 pm Program: Create a Butterfly-Hummingbird Garden

posted Feb 12, 2010, 8:30 PM by Roxie Rochat
We all enjoy seeing colorful butterflies and hummingbirds.  At 7 p.m. Wed., Feb. 17, at the Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 East Camano Drive, learn how to entice butterflies and hummingbirds into your garden. Bob Barca, Master Gardener and owner of Hummingbird Hill, will identify their basic requirements for life and provide tips to provide the appropriate plants and steps needed to create a special garden for these visitors. The talk includes slides of local butterflies and  hummingbirds.  Come and bring friends and neighbors to this program. This presentation is part of a public education series hosted the third Wednesday of the month by the Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks as part of the Island County watershed project.
