Landscaping with native plants — function and form

Brenda Cunningham  — Salal Chapter Washington Native Plant Society

Brenda Cunningham, manager of the Salal Chapter Washington Native Plant Society display garden, will present ideas for using native plants in your yard Wed., March 19 at 7 p.m. at the Camano Multipurpose Center (blue building), 141 NE Camano Drive. She will share ways to use some familiar native plants, but also introduce some species you may not have thought to use in the home landscape. She will also share some ideas for using native plants to manage some problems in the garden. The Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks, hosts this public presentation.  For information, call 360-387-2236, visit www.camanowildlifehabitat.org or e-mail camanowildlifehabitat@gmail.com.
