If you care about eating things from our waters, watching wildlife on our shorelines, swimming, or any other water-related activity, you'll want to attend our next program (complete with goodie bags and snacks besides):

CAMANO WILDLIFE PROGRAM
It’s a Shore Thing: Beaches, Clean Water, and our Local Wildlife
Wednesday, August 21, 7 p.m.

Camano Island's shorelines provide for abundant wildlife and recreational opportunities. In a fun presentation, Wed., Aug 21, 7 p.m., at the Camano Multipurpose Center (blue building), 141 East Camano Drive, Futurewise and WSU experts will present information about our influence on water quality and what we can do to help keep the water clean, including activities around the home and also septic systems. This presentation is part of a public education series hosted by the Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks, as part of the Island County watershed project.  For information about Camano's wildlife project, visit www.camanowildlifehabitat.org, call 360-387-2236, or e-mail camanowildlifehabitat@gmail.com.
