It’s that time of year again, the magnificent Northwest Flower and Garden Show. This year’s show is celebrating its 27th Anniversary
and is sure to have spectacular gardens! This amazing event brings
together the region’s leading gardening experts and presents a range of
educational, inspirational, and fun activities for gardeners and
families. Are you interested in attending this year’s show for FREE?
Volunteer for one, 3 hour shift at the National Wildlife Federation's
educational booth and you receive free entry to the show for that whole
day. You can explore the show before or after your shift. This year’s show runs from Wed Feb.11th through Sun Feb. 15th. The NWF’s Regional Center will host booth #2407 where
we will share information on our Certified Wildlife Habitat program
which mobilizes homes, schools, and communities around preserving,
restoring and creating attractive, low maintenance wildlife habitat in
backyards, places of work, schoolyards, parks and other community
spaces. With your help we can spread the news, no garden is too big or
small to turn into a wildlife-friendly habitat! Please
email Kaitlin with your chosen volunteer days and times. Kaitlin will
reply with updated availability and further instructions for your
volunteer date. (Kaitlin Parker, parkerk@nwf.org) Show dates at the Washington State Convention Center, Seattle: WED 2/11 THURS 2/12 FRI 2/13 SAT 2/14 SUN 2/15 Daily volunteer hours: 8:45AM - 11:45PM 11:45PM - 2:45PM 2:45PM - 5:30PM 5:30PM - 8PM |
