The Washington Native Plant Society planned to celebrate April, Native Plant Appreciation Month, with a long list of special events.  Although the meetings had to be cancelled, the society quickly adapted and triumphed with a number of Zoom-based webinars that were recorded and are now available on YouTube.  Check out the full list on the WNPS Virtual Events page.

Of particular interest to our BWH members may be

Gardening with Native Plants by Marcia Rivers Smith,

and photographic tours of the wildflowers of the Olympic Peninsula, Mt. Rainier, the Columbia Gorge.
A number of other presentations are being edited and should be made available soon.

If you're interested in gardening with Native Plants, WNPS resources can help you with selections for your garden. The right plant for the right place. Visit their Native Plant and Seed Source list to locate a nursery near you that provides native plants.
