Program: Wed, Feb 20th, 7pm Pollinators on Camano Island and How We Can Support Them by Dr. Jennifer Short

Learn about pollinators in your yard and how to assist them. Dr. Jennifer Short, veterinarian and alum of WSU, will discuss the current challenges for the bees, forage support,  and toxin control. Short will also explain the basics of beekeeping and the honey bee.

This community program is Wednesday, Feb. 20, 7 p.m., at the Island County Multi-Purpose Center (Blue Building), 141 N East Camano Drive. The Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks, hosts public presentations the third Wednesday of the month. For information, call 360-387-2236, visit www.camanowildlifehabitat.org, or email camanowildlifehabitat@gmail.com.
