posted Sep 26, 2019, 7:26 PM by Roxie Rochat
You will be surprised to find out how many native bees we have in Washington state.  Meet some of the native bees we have in the Pacific Northwest and learn about their lifestyles, life cycles and habitat needs.  Kathryn Lindsay, Skagit County Master Gardener, will talk about how we can enhance our gardens to attract native bees and help our ecosystems Wednesday, Oct. 16, 7 p.m., at the Island County Multi-Purpose Center, 141 N East Camano Drive (Blue Building). The Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks, hosts public presentations the third Wednesday of the month.  For information, call 360-387-2236, visit www.camanowildlifehabitat.org, or email camanowildlifehabitat@gmail.com
