Russ Holmes, retired forest service botanist, for a 1 to 2 mile walk
through Four Springs Lake Preserve trails to identify some of the common
Camano mosses, lichens, liverworts and fungi. See first hand the
principles discussed in the March 21 Camano Wildlife Habitat education
program. You can also download a list of species found on our last field trip to Four Springs:The trail has some elevation gain and loss and can be wet and slippery in places. Dress in layers appropriate for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, bring a hand lens if you have one, and meet in the main parking lot, 585 Lewis Lane, at 1 p.m., Sunday, March 25.
