If you missed the BWH fall birding trip, or just want to see what has changed in the last few weeks (plenty!), join this Skagit Audubon field trip to Camano. Beginners are always welcome on Skagit Audubon field trips.

Sunday, October 28 (yes, the 28th)
Camano Island
8:30 a.m. to early afternoon

Visit our favorite birding areas around Stanwood and Camano Island with local birder and Audubon past-president Pam Pritzl. Explore extensive saltwater, mudflats, marsh and beach, with shrubs and cropland nestled against forested hillsides. The diverse habitats promise good bird diversity as wintering birds settle in.

Meet at the QFC supermarket on SR 532 in downtown Stanwood to arrange carpooling. Those who want to carpool from Mt. Vernon can meet at the PETCO parking lot on College Way at 8:00 a.m. Plan to walk up to 2 miles on easy terrain and bring water and lunch. Boots, binoculars and spotting scopes are recommended.
Leader: Pam Pritzl, 360-387-7024
