Lisa Taylor, author of Your Farm in the City and the Maritime Northwest
Garden Guide, for a lively discussion about growing food gardens with
wildlife in mind Wednesday, April 15, 7 pm at the Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 N East Camano Drive (Blue Building). Taylor will
talk about annual and perennial edible plants that are treasured by
people and our woodland neighbors. Participants will explore gardening
practices that benefit wildlife while keeping them out of the vegetables
so that gardeners and wildlife can better live harmoniously on Camano
Island. The
Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island
Parks, hosts public presentations the third Wednesday of the month. For
