Weather conditions in winter present many challenges for resident
and migratory birds. Learn ways you can help meet their needs for water and
food during this critical period. Ani Gurnee, Naturalist and
Landscape Designer, will discuss how to select seed and feeders targeted to
specific species and which trees and shrubs to plant that will provide food and
shelter. The Wednesday, Feb. 15, program begins at 7 p.m. at
the Camano Multipurpose Center (Blue Building), 141 East Camano
Drive. This presentation is part of a public
education series hosted the third Wednesday of the month by the Camano Wildlife
Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks, as part of the
Island County watershed project. For information about Camano's wildlife
