Linda Brubaker, Emeritus Professor-UW College of Forest Resources will present our monthly 7pm program at the Camano Multipurpose Building (blue building).  The topic is "Diversity and Dynamics of Camano Island Forests."

Before logging, the forests of Camano Island were dominated by evergreen conifers known for their massive sizes and long life spans, but now
deciduous species are the dominant forest cover.  Learn about historical forests and current forest trajectories, ways forest cover shapes animal
habitats, and how the dynamics of forests have implications to wildlife species on Camano Island.
